Hardtank has granted a licence to FETCO, one of the world’s top manufacturers of commercial coffee equipment, to produce the Baby Hardtank at their facility in Lake Zurich, Illinois. This partnership brings Hardtank’s technology to a broader audience across North America.
Hardtank’s technology has been featured in a scientific article published in Nature Scientific Reports entitled ‘Influence of coffee brewing methods on the chromatographic and spectroscopic profiles, antioxidant and sensory properties’. The other two articles examine the effect of storing green and roasted coffee on their subsequent taste and properties.
We started out building a specialty coffee roastery people could trust, then took things global with our own Hardtank cold brew technology, and now we run one of Europe’s most advanced canned RTD production facility. The founders of Hardtank met through their shared passion of coffee in Poland’s specialty coffee community. Krzysztof Barabosz leads roasting operations and R&D at Hard Beans and Hardtank. He is recognized for his expertise in coffee science and innovation, helping develop award-winning cold brew technology and guiding the company’s research-driven approach.

Maciej Duszak is responsible for sales strategy and business growth. His leadership has been key to expanding Hardtank into international markets, building a strong network of distributors and partners worldwide.

Krzysztof Szkutnik is the creative force behind many of Hardtank’s signature beverage formulas. With a background in chemistry and deep experience as a coffee roaster, he has played a pivotal role in developing new cold brew methods and advancing the science of coffee extraction.
Together with Opole University of Technology, Rafał played a key role in developing the core Hardtank patented technology and devices. As head of the technology department, he drives continuous innovation and technical excellence in the product line.
Marcin is the driving force behind the company’s operations, ensuring that all departments are working together and moving forward. His leadership and coordination are essential to Hardtank’s ongoing success and growth.
